Children and Young People

young people in church

Children are always welcome at St James. Both of our services are child friendly and we are a breastfeeding friendly church.

The 9.30am service is a more formal service, but children are welcome and we understand that they will not always be quiet and still!

The 11am Active Church for All service is interactive and everyone is encouraged to get involved.

St James Youth Fellowship meets on Friday nights and is open to anyone in school years 3 - 8

We have strong links with our church school Sankey Valley St James Primary and our local Scout Group, 7th Warrington. Both join us for worship at various times through the year.

In recognition of the quality and range or our facilities and work with children and young people we have been recognised as a Child Friendly Church by the Diocese of Liverpool.
