About St James, Westbrook

St. James is part of the West Warrington Church team in the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool.  As well as regular worship, including blossoming children's groups, we pride ourselves on our fellowship and regular social events.  Why not have a look around and see what we do?  We would always be glad to see you at worship, or one of our other events. Our vicar is Rev Martin Thorpe and he can be contacted by e-mail martinthevicar@btinternet.com

Warrington is a rapidly growing town in the North West of England and our parish covers the areas of Great Sankey, Hood Manor, Westbrook, Old Hall and the new 'urban village' development of Chapelford.

We are part of the West Warrington Team Ministry with St Mary's, St Paul's and St Philip's Anglican churches. Rev Jeremy Tear is the Team Rector.

We received Child Friendly church status in 2013 in recognition of the friendly reception families with children receive in our services as well as the wider children's ministry we undertake in church and in the community. We have close links with our primary school, Sankey Valley St James CE Primary, as well as other schools in the area. We run Messy Church in local schools and a after school church clubs.
