COVID-19 Information

During the current international situation, the Archbishops of the Church of England have asked that public worship cease in all parishes.

Therefore our normal pattern of Sunday worship and other church gatherings must be put on hold.

All regular groups who use the church hall have also ceased to meet.

You can read a letter from our vicar, Martin, and services and reflections for Holy Week on our dedicated Covid-19 webpage. Links to online services, home worship ideas and support during this time are also on our Covid-19 webpage

This page will be updated as things change. We will also update our Facebook page

Child Friendly Church

We are a Child Friendly Church

St. James is a parish church in the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool.  We serve an urban parish in the West of Warrington.   As well as regular Sunday morning worship we pride ourselves on our fellowship and regular social events.  Please have a look around and see what we do. We are part of the West Warrington Team with St Mary's, St Paul's and St Philip's Anglican churches.

Rev Martin Thorpe

Rev Martin Thorpe and the congregation would always be glad to see you at worship, or one of our other events. You can contact Martin by e-mail martin.cme1-4@talk21.com
