Sunday Worship

We regularly have two services each Sunday

  • 9.30am—Parish Communion in church.
  • Refreshments for both services
  • 11am—ACE (Active Church for Everyone) in church.

Everyone is very welcome!

During December we have All Together Worship in the morning and additional services on some dates. Please check times carefully

  • Sunday 10th December 10.30am - All Together Worship for Advent
  • Sunday 17th December 9.30am - All Together Worship for Advent including a Nativity
  • Sunday 24th December 10.30am - All Together Carol Service
  • Sunday 24th December 3pm - Children's Crib Service
  • Sunday 24th December 11.30pm - Midnight Eucharist
  • Sunday 31st December NO SERVICE AT ST JAMES We will join with other congregations in our team for a Team Communion Service 10am at St Mary's, Great Sankey

St. James is a parish church in the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool.  We serve an urban parish in the West of Warrington.   As well as regular Sunday morning worship we pride ourselves on our fellowship and regular social events.  Please have a look around and see what we do. We are part of the West Warrington Team with St Mary's, St Paul's and St Philip's Anglican churches.

To book Weddings, Baptisms, or Funerals at St James please contact Rev Rebecca or Martin by e-mail You will normally be asked to come along to one of our Sunday morning services to book a baptism, wedding or to have your banns read.

If you, or someone you know would value a visit from the Pastoral Visiting Team, please contact the Wardens after the Sunday service or by e-mail, using the link below.
